A specific record of eight years or more of experience in land surveying work of a character satisfactory to the board and indicating that the applicant is competent to practice land surveying. Broad based, progressive learning in fundamental knowledge under direct supervision of person authorized to practice land surveying. Each year of approved land surveying course without graduation considered equivalent to a year of required experience.
