Nebraska Engineers and Architects Regulation Act - Professional Engineer Licensure Requirements (Neb. Rev. Stat. §§81-3401 to 81-3455 and Title 110, Nebraska Administrative Code)
Board Rule 2.2.4, Title 110, NAC
Meeting the NCEES Engineering Education Standard through credentials evaluation. NCEES Credentials Evaluations must transmit a copy of its report directly to the Nebraska Board. If any deficiencies are identified, they will need to be corrected or removed by the Board prior to approval. NCEES will only conduct evaluations where the applicant has graduated from: (1) A foreign (non-U.S.) engineering degree program; OR (2) A US-based, non-EAC/ABET-accredited degree program in engineering, engineering technology, related science, or mathematics only when coupled with a master's degree or doctorate from a program that is EAC/ABET-accredited at the undergraduate or graduate level. Engineering technology degrees typically do not meet the NCEES Engineering Education Standard due to a deficiency in engineering sciences and design.
