Mississippi state-specific surveying examination: 100 multiple choice questions (1 point each), minimum passing grade 70/100. Covers MS surveying instructions, state/Indian/township boundaries, MS Board rules and licensure law, BLM Manual of Surveying Instructions (1973 or 2009), Land Surveyor Reference Manual, Senate Bill 2131 (1992), Rule 21 surveying standards, Brown's Boundary Control/Legal Principles (2003).
